TaskStack is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information and store your data locally on your device whenever possible.

Information Storage and Collection

Here's what you should know about how TaskStack handles your data:

Local Storage: All your stack data, tasks, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We believe your personal data should stay with you.
Payment Processing: For premium features (accessed via subscription or one-time purchase), we use RevenueCat to manage purchase status. The actual payment transaction is processed securely through the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We receive only confirmation of your purchase/subscription status from RevenueCat and do not store or have access to your payment card details.
App Store Data: When downloading our app through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, these platforms may collect information according to their privacy policies. We only receive aggregated, non-personal analytics.
No Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services that would collect your personal information for marketing purposes.

Information Used By RevenueCat

For premium access (subscriptions or one-time purchases), we use RevenueCat, a third-party purchase management platform. When you make a purchase:

RevenueCat processes the transaction confirmation but does not provide us with your full payment details
We only receive information about whether your purchase is active (e.g., subscription status or confirmation of lifetime access)
RevenueCat's use of your information is governed by their privacy policy

Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

To help us identify and fix bugs and improve the stability of TaskStack, we use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google. When the app encounters a crash, Crashlytics collects anonymous information about the event.

This information includes details like the device type, operating system version, and the state of the app at the time of the crash (a "crash trace"). Importantly, this data is anonymized and does not contain any personally identifiable information. It helps us diagnose problems and make the app more reliable for everyone.

Participation in crash reporting is completely opt-in. If you choose to enable it, the collection of crash reports is based on your consent, which you can manage (and withdraw at any time) within the app's settings. Data Retention

Since TaskStack stores your data locally on your device, your data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. If you contact us through email, we will retain that communication for as long as needed to address your inquiry and then delete it.
